Raw Guest host

I was wondering what you think about this cause on a other site 97% voted no

I will not lie i enjoyed one and that was when raw was stratusfaction

the only one i want to see is the rock the rest we can skip and then keep him as GM

some of them no doubt was interesting, but i think it needs to end. They need one person there like bischoff was and his heel persona and involvement in the storylines week after week. With all the guest hosts the show feels unfinished if that makes any sense. I am looking forward to the rock hosting Raw.

it all depends on who a permenant GM would be though - Vickie eg despite doing her job and getting heat i just get bored watching her as it bores me.

Also who the guest hosts would be, if you had more wrestling related guests or very big name stars rather then smaller scale people, and actually make sure they 'know their stuff' on WWE rather then Piven's summerfest i think the guest host idea is good, it means there should be freshness each week or even if you included people who have already been guest hosts ie Ted DiBiase again,

or just an idea, you put Raw's GM spot (for 1 week) in battle royal's every so often so a WWE superstar has control for a week to attempt to turn it back to anarchy style

That doesn't make sense either though, if you where the boss of a company why would you want someone in charge who wants to turn the show into sheer anarchy

weve seen stranger in WWE and there have been stipulations before where winner of SS 04 Orton's team got control of 4 weeks etc that sort of thing (Regal battle royal to become GM)

the guest host thing is a terrible idea from a wrestling fan's perspective, but I wonder has it actually increased ratings? If so, then it's obvious why they've continued with it, if not then they're fucking idiots.

Its been stated loads of times that ratings for this year are well up from ratings from last year from when the guest host thing has been on, which is disappointing from a wrestling fans point of view when you consider that Chris Jericho/Shawn Michaels where in the middle of their feud last year when the guest host thing was on this year, very disappointing indeed, that being said, Triple H was on SD, Cena was out injured as well during the same periods which would probably also contribute to weaker ratings, that being said, you can only work with the actual facts and figures and ratings are up with the guest host concept compared to the same time last year.

That begs a different question, what exactly do wresting fans want to watch

Personally for me, the only time I've really enjoyed a RAW under this concept has been when an ex Wrestler has been in charge, no doubts about it Jesse Ventura was by a large distance the best host, then there was DiBiase and Rhodes, Piper was alright too, not great but at least he could make it believable

I think its just over thinkin things, i know its entertainment value but c'mon, mini me? i reckon stonecold or the rock to comeback as GM would be ace!
