Changes He'll Make To The Wrestling World: Well, the one thing I would change and I’m going to change is..I hate the writers. I cannot stand that they have a writing team sitting in the back telling the wrestlers what to say and telling the wrestlers what to do in the ring. That’s one of the reasons why I went to TNA because the other promotion that’s what they’re all about - scripting the verbiage and scripting the matches and telling the wrestlers what to do. They have a team of writers in the back that don’t understand this business, that have never been to the big show, that have never been in the big main events. God I hate Hogan.

True but, the Outsiders would have been players in WCW but nowhere near the level they managed being associated with Hogan, not just Hulk Hogan though, heel Hollywood Hogan, say what you want about him but he knows the business inside out and he is still a major draw, his celebrity wrestling shows rating proved that, doubt many tuned in to see Screech from Saved by the Bell, Kelly on the otherhand...........

But the NWO was never Hogans idea, so saying he formed it is bullshit, not a doubt it was so big because of Hogan though.

Hogan has NEVER proved he can book for multiple people, only himself so..........

He wont be booking for himself this time around though, also, its not what he can bring to the ring, that much is obvious coz he hasn't got much left to bring, its what he can bring to the cameras and equally what kind of fan power he can bring to TNA.

If Spike actually start promoting it like a serious company then it might stand a chance of improving

As for Hogan not thinking of the NWO, Nash, Hall and Bischoff all take credit for it when it was neither of their ideas either, Hogan made it work, Hogan turning heel was what it was all about

But he didn't think of(or create) it which is my point, Bischoff got the idea from japan.

Hogan has never booked anyone other than himself so how will that make TNA better than it is like papa8737057301509 said??.

No doubt that he will bring in a few extra fans at first, but will they stick around with Hogan as the "on screen boss"(the on screen boss thing had been done to death btw)?? maybe they will, but when TNA becomes WWE-but-without-the-big-budget, will the people who blow TNA for being "the wrestling company" stick around??

Don't get me wrong though, I know I'm totally blinded with my Hogan hate, but that will never go away unless I see his death LIVE ONLY ON PPV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TBH this Promo seems terribly in chracter so im taking it with a massive pinch of salt.

One thing I love from this is the great promos the wrestlers have had to do to say how much they're looking forward to Hogan coming in.

I think your being pedantic about it though, without Hogan it would never have been anything other than another angle, they would have been compared to the four horsemen, might have got a decent year run out of it but at the end of the day it wouldn't have had much longevity, Hogan turning heel and being the focal poitn for it made the whole angle what it was

My main concern with the whole thing at the moment is that for the first time in a long long time TNA have been going in the right direction.
Guys like AJ as champ.
Joe finally looking arsed again.
Daniels main eventing.
Eric Young losing his gimmick and becoming a great heel.
MCMG actually being used.
Morgan, Hernandez and Pope getting decent airtime.
And Wolfe, Desmond Wolfe.

Sure it's not perfect, as a production it pales in comparsion to WWE still, I watched both last night and it's like going from Wembley Stadium to Macc Town's Moss Rose ground.

But it's on the right track. Hogan though coming in could completly change it all, as much as everyone hated the Main Event Mafia angle it could be that for real very soon.

I don't like the WWE's production either, I think its too professional if that makes sense, you don't get much of the hard camara, you get more close ups than anything as well, you see to much IMO which seriously hampers the wrestlers.

I think TNA's production is far to cheap looking and the WWE's is far to Hollywood!

Yeah I understand where you're coming from. I always use that 'too polished' remark when I describe the difference between Star Trek and Star Wars.
While Star Wars is all gritty with broken ships etc (the original trilogy), Star Trek is all clean, chrome and looks 'too' good.

Hogan didn't come up with the NWO, didn't start the NWO, which was my point, did he make it what it was? YES but that wasn't my point so.......

My point was they guy is so full of shit its unreal, something which nobody has yet to disprove.

Hogan didn't say he came up with the NWO, he said he formed it, which he did, the NWO formed the moment Hogan turned heel, before that Hall and Nash where simply the Outsiders.

He formed it in kayfabe yeah, but it was Bischoff's idea(which he stole) in the real world though.

How do you see him and Bischoff doing if left to run TNA?? don't know about anyone else but I'm interested in seeing what Bischoff especially can do with significantly less power(eg $$$$).

I wouldn't say he just formed it in Kayfabe. I'd say when he decided to turn heel thats when they decided to run with the whole NWO angle

I'm not sure yet about TNA, I've not even got a clue what kind of roles they will have, I'm no sure if Bischoff is going to be focusing more on the promoting side of it, going with what Hogan is supposed to say to Austin though, if their is truth in it then there is money in it, I doubt Hogan would get so hands on involved if there wasn't money to throw at it.

I think between Dixie, Spike and any sponsors Hogan gets then they might have a bit of cash to spend

I think at this moment in time Vince see's TNA as an annoying itch you can't quite scratch if you get what I mean. Not big enough to anger him but annoying all the same
