Still Major Heat on a WWE Announcer,New Announcer?

Sources say that Michael Cole has some major heat on him right now from within WWE. The feeling is that he isn't taking his job seriously anymore and officials aren't happy with some of his "stupid" comments made on TV lately. They also feel that he is no longer putting the company first.

There may be another shuffling of announcers soon as Jerry Lawler being attacked last night and Matt Striker filling in for him was done so WWE could test the waters to see how the different announcers work together.

Word is that several people who had been trying out for the new WWE announcer spot were contacted this past week and thanked for applying but were told that someone else had been hired.

Coles been crap for couple of years

Cole needs someone aggrssive beside him, I always thought him and JBL were damned good on Smackdown. Alongside Lawler, who's been awful for years, he just makes the stupid comments and no-one picks up on them.

Matt Striker, I'm not actually a fan of his especially. He just seems a bit bland. That could be because he's next to Grisham / Josh Matthews, who are also awful.

personally, get JBL back, move JR to Raw with Lawler, JBL and Cole on Smackdown, and Joey Styles back on ECW, but let him say what he wants, rather than make him a cheaper version of JR. And get Edge on commentary whilst he's recovering.

I like Cole if he plays the straight guy to an edgier counterpart, he was brilliant with JBL and I liked him with Taz too, both couldn't sing his praises highly enough

I don't want JR back on RAW, he and Lawler where worse then Lawler and Cole just before they moved.

Out of all the guys I'd like to see Styles and JBL on RAW, that would be fun, fresh and interesting, as long as they where allowed to be themselves.

from what I've read people seem to think Sean Mooney's got the job, I always liked Mooney but he was never really an announcer, he would announce on home videos but never on Superstars, Wrestling Challenge, All American or any of the PPV's

Mooney adds a professional appeal to the show, I'd like to see him back but more as a backstage reporter, with his anchor-man image and gimmick they could use him to reveal some pretty interesting information to help storylines along

Does Jr already have a new contract maybe he is gone from WWE now that they are hiring a new one

WWE wouldn't be WWE without some sort of heat on Cole. maybe if they didn't have dickwads like HHH/HBK going on commentary and totally undermining him "because they can", then he wouldn't look so stupid, totally uncalled for IMO.

King is even worse than Cole these days, not sure its his fault though KING HAS TO BE HEEL TO BE GOOD.
