I do think Keane is over-rated as a boss, fair enough he got promoted one season, but then blew millions on average players when they got to the Premiership, and now he's at a club with not as much cash, he's struggling.

People forget Peter Reid, Mick McCarthy and even bloody Denis Smith got us promoted too, with less resources too.

It was only the cup plus Peterborough are a very decent attack minded side, they will do well this season, particularly at home, once they find their feet I'd say they will be the dark horse for the Play Offs

Let it go Disco, Keano got you into the Prem from Rock bottom in the Championship, kept you their first season, didn't think he could second so left with enough time for you to get something sorted, now you've got a guy who is a good manager and who could turn out to be a top class manager, or would you rather Keane stuck with you even though he wasn't getting the results? are you missing the Newcastle/Sunderland games already

It was only 5 games into the season he took over and it was only cos Quinny was beyond terrible at management we lost 4 of 'em. We were freshly relegated but cos of the new board, we kept most of our best. Plus if it wasn't for the money he got in January (far more than any other Championship team) we would have stayed mid-table.

I'm not saying he didn't do a decent job, far from it but Reidy, Smith, McCarthy etc have all brought us into the prem.

99% of fans wanted him to stay regardless of a few humpings. If he had any balls he would have stuck with us, with the team he built. Instead he leaves us in a rut and the only reason we stopped up was because Boro and the scum were so utterly shite.
