| According to numerous sources, Sting plans on making this his final year in TNA — and presumably, professional wrestling.
Since his return to the company in 2006, the multi-time world champion has directed his career on a year-to-year basis, hence the one-year contract agreements year after year.
He has been telling people that this year's Bound for Glory pay-per-view will be it for him in TNA. His contract with the organization is once again set to expire shortly before the end of the year.

| Yeah, I think most people have been speculating that this will be the case. When you see some of his recent performances, it's clear that he's struggling these days. Probably for the best, but he will be missed | |

| If he leaves at Bound for Glory i would like to see him put over one of the young rising stars one person i would like to see take the step up to Main event level is Alex Shelley, He's good on the mic and an excellent in ring performer and would put on a great match with Sting. | |

| TNA look like they could be in trouble with some of their 'big' stars. Nash hasn't got much left, Sting is going to retire, Kurt Angle looks set to join WWE. Booker won't be going much longer, neither will Steiner, Foley or Jarrett.
It's time they start setting foundations to do what pretty much everyone wants them to do and build up the younger guys and create their own talent again.

| Probably what the MEM angle is all about really, you would think the younger ones will go over them eventually. | |

| It looks like they have started with Styles and Joe getting clean wins over Nash and Booker (At destination x anyway) so the MEM storyline mightn't last too much longer. | |

| Bet him and Flair are both eyeing each other up for their final matches.
Flair seems keen to have another and there isn't anyone in TNA Sting hasn't been with.
Flair and Sting is one of the best/oldest rivalries possible today, be mad if it happened.

| I shudder to think the amount of money they could get there, make one hell of a pay cheque to retire on. | |

| "Boooooo!!!!"
Up to about 2005 I'm convinced he was on something, the last 2-3 years seems to have taken all from him. He suddenly looks as old as he is.
Proper baldy, old man-boobed, big saggy wrinkly belly and just generally, urgh.

| You can pretty much bet that statement will prove to be BS as well, if the call is big enough for it then Vince will make sure if it happens it will happen on his watch | |

Just curious, but who said Angle is going to WWE? And if your answer is Kurt himself Im pulling out the old Angle Bullshit card. Ive seen that battered about here for a few week's but Ive not seen any news posted, rumours or anything other than user posted speculation like this.

Now substitute TNA for WWE, and for Nash, Booker, Sting, Foley, Jarrett, Steiner and Kurt read Triple H, Undertaker, HBK, Batista...
At least WWE has 2 guys who will be headlining in 5-10 years in Cena and Orton, and Edge who I reckon has about 5 years left. Both companies need to realise that they need new headliners and need to start getting them over now.

| MaFish, nothing has been set in stone but it was widely reported a while back that Kurt Angle had meetings at Titan Towers, he has also been praising Vince again and Triple H, it does look certain that his next contract will be with the E
Also it was reported that at meetings his planned return storyline was discussed
I think this whole Joe program is building to his eventual departure from TNA, his contract is up in three months

| I thought that was just Kurt talking shit again? And praising Vince was just part of the (kay fabe) anti Jarret rant he was on at the time? It seem's like every one has it set that he is going back from basically hear say. | |

| I don't think he was in character in his interviews, its hard to tell I suppose but it was before the whole Jarrett angle came into it when it was first reported, until its confirmed it is only hear say, same with anything I suppose, only reports I read where back around January time when he was 'alledged' to have had a meeting at Titan Towers in Stamford, Connecticut | |

| I'm sure I also read that there was meetings to plan his return, you don't normally do that unless him returning is a serious possibillity. | |

| I think it was just a creative meeting which they have every week but one particular meeting was focused on how Angle would return IF he did re-sign | |

| Surely if they were discussing what they would do if he did return that would mean there would be a strong possibility that he will re-sign with wwe when his TNA deal runs out. | |

| I think its more on than off to be honest with you, don't know why, Angle is saying the right things now, obviously trying to get back in Vince's good books, they have had a meeting in Stamford and they have already discussed how he will be reintroduced to the audiance, I think its a safe bet to be honest.
Also, he has recently stated he might consider going into films when his contract runs out, which would also suggest that he is using that as an excuse not to sign a new contract
