| Who's available for the job? Chelski would be looking for a big name, can't think of any that are unemployed, or that would elave their current jobs.
Eriksson's about the best I can come up with...

| Roberto Mancini
maybe Ericksson
What about Kevin Keegan until the end of the season?
Frank Rijkaard is another possibility

| It seems no one is getting time at the big clubs any more.
How long did it take SAF to win the Premier League when he took over?
Wenger and SAF have shown that with more time they can get better teams. Owners seem to expect big things straight away.
Also how will kicking out the manager improve the rest of the season?

| 16 points dropped at home suggest another guy could do better, different tactics, different system, using other players | |

| But the moral of the players will have dropped, I'm pretty sure a couple are already looking for a way out.
Changing the way they play won't happen overnight, but Chelsea are entering a very important part of their season, they needed stability, not being left with no manager.
It wasn't all of Scolari's fault, he didn't have the best squad and didn't have a lot of money to improve on it.

That's why he was sacked, don't know about you but looking at their team on Saturday it was obvious they where never going to score, they didn't look like they believed they would. the moral simply wasn't their! - Quote :

No one said it will, however Scolari wanted to play an attack minded side, free flowing footballing side, however most of these players have played to a win at all costs system for the best part of three years, reverting back to that for the remainder of the season will be easier and probably be more profitable, the league was gone anyway! - Quote :

Like I said the league was gone anyway, they do need stability, but would dropping points at home almost every 2nd week give them that? the only one I can recall them winning lately was against Stoke and that was 2 goals in the last minutes! a new manager can rejuvenate them with two major trophies still to play for and finish as high up the league as possible! - Quote :

Only Manchester United have a better all round squad than Chelsea, that is absolutely no excuse what so ever!

| It all went downhill when Clark'ey went.
4th on the league, still in Champs League and FA Cup
Im sure 15 other teams in the prem would kill for that, its bullshit Abromivic is expecting too much too soon, maybe now he realises letting Jose go was a bad idea

| I stated when Scolari took over I was never a fan and thought the guy was vastly over-rated. For me he's one of those managers who's just been lucky. Manager of a Brazil team with Ronaldo (when not fat), Ronaldinho, Carlos etc in a world Cup where all the other countries were pretty shite and even the likes of McClaren could have won it. Then took Portugal when they were hosting the Euro's. Most host nations do well on their soil in big tournies, S. Korea got to the semis of the WC! Yet he manages to not come up with a tactic to beat Greece? A team they had played only 3 weeks earlier (and lost to then as well). He was never proven at club level in a big nation, didnt have a clue on the training ground and Chelsea will be much better off without him. He was a round peg in a very square hole. Avram is being touted as returning and it wouldnt shock me if he did. He had his critics but he got Chelsea to a penalty kick of being European Champions. Not even the Special One managed that. | |

| I agree with most of that, but Abromovich appointed him for his name value and the fact he's won a world cup, and probably the fact he played entertaining football with both brazil and portugal, probably didnt occur to him that they are naturally entertaining
Did nothing but damage that name value at Chelsea the way he's been treated
