Chelsea have got it fairly easy in the group, and i wouldn't be surprised if they take full points, with roma coming in 2nd

inter under jose should come through this in 1st place, but panathinakos could cause problems for the top 2 seeds and i expect them to clinch 2nd ahead of bremen

barcelona will take 1st in this group, but basle and shaktar away will prove tough ties for the top 2 seeds, but i expect the top 2 to get through

this group could be a tough draw for my team, psv always seem to make it past the group stages, and atletico are a classy team that boasts some real talent and marseille have caused liverpool past problems.
if the liverpool of the start of the season continue their poor performances, i could see us going into the uefa cup, but i expect liverpool to get better now that the defensive rock mascherano is back so im going for liverpool and atletico to go through here

celtic may struggle here, villareal are no slouches and boast some euro 08 winners medalists, celtics chances will rely on the home crowd beint the proverbial 12th man and helping them get something against the top 2 seeds, my head says the top 2 seeds to go through, and celtic have to rely on the uefa cup

this could be where one of the biggest upsets could come, im going to go for fiorentina to steal second place from lyon and go through with bayern

arsenal have got a fairly tough draw, porto will have a point to prove after nearly being kicked out of the competition and nobody like a trip to turkey, and kiev performed well in qualifying, im going to say porto will get 3rd, and im going to say kiev will join arsenal in the knockout stages

despite this being dubbed a group of death, i think the top seeds will go through and zenit will go to what they do best, getting far into the uefa cup

To be fair we haven't been favourites to go through in the last of the two seasons yet we managed it, qualifying from the group before a certain Manchester United!

Like I said Bazz, hopefully Giggs will not be reduced to his rancid cheating this time around it might make for a fair game, how many penaltites did you manage to get in the last two ties? Jeez

The last 16 is not exactly what its cracked up to be anyway, obviously for the the good teams around Europe its just natural progression, I would rather have a spell in the Uefa Cup after the CL and have a chance of actually winning that tournament, the only thing the last 16 does for a Club like Celtic is give us extra weight in the transfer market in January when trying to entice players to come here

Villareal have a Celtic supporters club, they come over once or twice a year, good bunch! suppose all it takes is a few idiots though and chaos irrupts!

Just a bit of bad blood from the games, plus the gringo Polizei and there trusty batons.

I reckon Celtic should be able to get through to the last 16 from that group. Man U will obviously finish top, but I reckon Celtic will manage to win all their home games, and pick up a win away to Aalborg. Possibly even manage to snatch a point away to Villareal, but I'm not so certain about that.
