Can't see this being true. They didn't go all out with him at any stage, even before his injuries - of which I can only think of two concussions. All of the top guys have had time off - Orton has dodgy shoulders, Cena gets nasty injuries every couple of years...
Ziggler's big problem is his character as a face. He's a jock. People who watch wrestling tend to get bullied by jocks. His groin thrust in his entrance is not a face thing to do. He needs to turn heel and give it the full HBK from the early 90's. Have diva's fighting over him. Have him taking huge bumps and cheating to win. Him as a big-bumping heel is the best thing for all.
