Brodus Clay
Evan Bourne
Yoshi Tatsu
WWE wishes them the best in all their future endeavors.

More have also been chopped. Also gone are:

Drew McIntyre
Jinder Mahal
Aksana
Curt Hawkins
And a referee (Marc Harris?)

Of those, I'm most surprised about Drew and Jinder - what happens with 3MB now?

not surprised by Yoshi (he'd been in WWE for what, 7 years or so now?), Curt Hawkins either.

Evan Bourne will be resigned once he's actually fit again. If that ever happens.

I don't think Evan Bourne will be resigned by WWE - they got a better version of him, Adrian Neville, in NXT so he's just surplus to requirements. I'll be interested to see if he turns up on Ring of Honor's PPV next weekend now...

Apparently Vickie Guerrero is gone too.

If true, no biggie. Her career peaked with Edge 6 years ago.

yeah since the Authority came about there wasn't really a need for general manager on either show, apparently she left on good terms so there's always a small chance she could come back in some role.

I'd imagine a few more NXT guys will be called up.

With Grecian, Surprised with Mahal and Drew. Brodus Clay never really got a chance. his gimmick I feel was ok but they didn't give him a decent fued.

I'm guessing that WWE just did their half-yearly review of finances and it didn't look good.

Bit surprised by MacIntyre and Mahal as they'd be fairly prominant of late so it will be interesting to see what becomes of 3MB now that it's just Slater and Hornswoggle. Other than that most of the releases are not great shock. Most of them hadn't done anything of note in months.

If I were Christian I might be a bit worried right now though.

still no future endeavor for CM Punk? He must be the only person to 'really' leave without them.

At this stage it's probably easier and cheaper just to let his contract run out. I exepct they'll "wish him well" at the end of July (which I think is when his contract ends) or else they'll just quietly remove him from the roster page. Or they might do a new deal with him but that seems fairly unlikely.

I was thinking the same with Adam Rose. Or he could choke to death on a lollipop, that'd be nice.

Brodus Clay had an awesome look, but was lumbered with an awful gimmick. If he'd made him a monster heel, he could have been right at the top of the card now.

Just town toon he was going to a hockey game - which happened to be the same night as payback PPV was in Chicago...

You look at that then look at some of the names still on the roster

Drew, Hawkins, and Camacho shouldn't be released.
The rest, i couldn't give two flying fucks.
