Or it could be that a sequel to Call of Duty: Black Ops was always part of Activision's plan, which is why the domain name had been locked down by privacy protection on Whois until this week. BlackOps2.com was spotted and reported by Fusible, who noted that Acti went through brand protection firm MarkMonitor, buying up names from BlackOps2.com to BlackOps6.com.

And with this year being Treyarch's turn to take on Call of Duty, it could be that the developer is planning a return visit to Black Ops, especially given the game's overwhelming success upon its release in 2010. Obviously, there's no confirmation or information regarding the next Call of Duty title just yet, but Black Ops 2 certainly seems like a pretty safe bet.

Dont matter what ever they call it as its rumored that GTA V will be going head to head with it and i think GTA will kill it

I just hope the developers don't make the same mistakes they did with the first one.
