| Surely this isn't a coincidence: ROH gets bought out and now has new owners. CM Punk mentioning ROH and Colt Cabana on Raw Some ROH wrestlers getting signed such as Chris Hero. ROH wrestlers spotted backstage at WWE shows (apparently Jimmy Jacobs was at Raw last week). CM Punk now with his ROH music. I remember when it turned out WWE secretly worked with ECW, so whats the betting the same is not happening here? | |

| My theory is that WWE have realised that having one development territory where everyone works exactly the same way and does exactly the same thing has lead to the number of FCW graduates who are virtually identical has lead to such a stagnant main event scene.
If everyone is the same, then who is going to stand out and get over?
By hiring RoH guys, and others who've been around the indie scene, they don't need to be trained as much as, say a Mason Ryan, and have learned what works and what doesn't to a live audience.
I'd not be surprised if WWE has entered some kind of working relationship, plus it stops these guys going to TNA. | |
