I thought they just about ruined this whole storyline with Myterio then Cena getting the shitey replica belt they had there last night.

Then Punk returns with his old Indy Music
If Kings Of Wrestling & Colt Cabana do sign and form a faction with Punk, the group should be called Cult Of Personality.




Still prefer, Killswitch Engage - This Fire Burns though.

Oh aye, and Triple H & Truth segment was good, and Cole dressed like HHH for his match against Zack Ryder was class.

Glad CM Punk gone back to his old ROH theme as the lyrics fit in with his current storyline.

BTW Jay Thorn in our XFE fed is gutted as that was his theme

I have to say that was a brilliant RAW. It more than made up for the crap one they put out last week.

The ending was class with Punk but I just hope they are not rushing this by putting Punk vs Cena for Summerslam, which is what I am guessing they are going for instead of saving it and having Cena vs Mysterio for SUmmerlsam, have Cena win, then Cena vs Del Rio for Night of Champions then have Punk vs Cena for the titles at whatever the next ppv is.

But Punk coming out to Cult of Personality was awesome and the two title matches where fantastic.

Cult of Personality is one of those songs I love and had forgotten about completely. I'll be finding that on iTunes later!

Anyway, thought it was a darned good Raw. I'm not sure how I feel about Punk returning so quickly, and by giving the belt to Rey and then Cena it dumps on the reason Vince was so desperate to keep Punk - why get so upset about the belt leaving WWE if you're going to have a new champ within a fortnight anyway? I'd rather the Cena / Mysterio match went to a no-contest. to delay crowning a new champ straight away.

The Cult Of Personality song also has a tie to Austin as that was the music they used in his Hall Of Fame video....hmmmm,

That's what I thought the music was referring to. I didn't know Cult Of Personality was Punk's indy theme. My face almost looked as confused as Cena's when it started playing though. Brilliant ending though, just Punk looking badass walking down to the ring as the crowd went mental.

It's good that Triple H is appearing on SmackDown too. I wonder if he will call out Punk then. Speaking of Triple H, I wonder if the Miz's rant against him meant anything (perhaps planting the seeds for Miz to lead Team Vince vs Team HHH?) or whether it was purely filler?

I also thought the "blockbuster return" would be Batista, not John Morrison.

When JR's theme started playing i thought it was Umaga's for a second. The saw JR, and remembered Umaga's still dead.

Good raw, was right about it just being filled with mid card matches dressed up as a legit money making spectacle, but fooling people with the del rio run down at after the first "wwe championship" match, HHH and the cena vs rey "wwe championship" match/Punk return made it into a very worthwhile show.

morrison can boost the mid card a bit too.

it said 9 time wwe champ on raw, but I think punk will have something to say about it's crediblity. Assume he got 2 world champs too? I would hope cena and reys wins are removed from history though. The time line would mess up if they dont if it goes down as punk champ then rey then cena then punk having never lost it.

In MMA if the current champ is away or injured the title is up for grabs as that same official title, then when the previous holder returns his title becomes the official one and the other becomes an interem-championship.

So WWE should do that with their titles in the storyline:

CM Punk = Official champ
Cena = Interem champ

BTW i'm gutted Cena won the belt as it means he will be continuing his fued with Punk and sadly this will just be like all of Cena's previous fueds where he loses a match then wins the next few and eventuall wins overall forcing his opponent back to mid-card like Nexus and Miz who got a good push to begin with, then got buried by Cena... so please WWE, have Cena lose again and move on.

Dunno how many times he's held each title, but im sure Punk called him a 10 time champ a couple of weeks ago.
Going at this rate he'll be the one to break Flair's record. So will Orton infact.

Didn't Orton at one point get the title twice in one night?

I can't remember the PPV, but someone was injured, thennit got given to Orton who lost it to HHH, HHH defended it against Umaga, then HHH lost it to Orton that same night.

I agree with the whole tournement to determin a new champion but should of put it over a few weeks leading to a title match at Summerslam, where CM Punk returned before the match ended. The match would of been stopped and Punk is still the champ!

I also didn't have a clue who it was when Punks New (or old) music hit, but i had a guess it was Colt Cobana.
