Raw

Another good segment to end raw last night with Vince and John Cena. I cant wait for Punk to come back next week as i hope he gets another chance to run his mouth again just before the PPV.

The segment was really good to end RAW, it was never going to top last weeks but its making me look forward to next weeks RAW.

It may be just me but I cant help but get the feeling that with the new added stipulation they are overbooking things.

I just don't like the way they've made it all about Cena again. How he will have to overcome the hostile Chicago crowd and Vince's lack of confidence in him to beat the evil CM Punk and save the WWE! It was a good segment though I agree. RAW itself was generally better than last week I feel. What's going to happen to Del Rio's No 1 Contendership though? I understand he won't get a title match at MITB but will he get one at SummerSlam perhaps or will it all be swept under the carpet?

And was it just me or did the cheers/boos that WWE allegedly pipe in to the taped show seem more forced than they should sound. That sentence was probably one big clusterfuck so let me explain.

Punk seemed to get cheers that weren't there last week when he kicked off. Could he really change the general WWE Universe's opinion of him in the space of a week? Similarly, Cena got a lot more cheers than he usually did (although that's nothing unusual).

As for Vince, he usually gets a decent reception purely out of respect but it sounded like the crowd were booing him to fuck last night (or last week if you want to be picky). Again, could they really rally behind Punk that much and rally against Vince that much in the space of a week?

The show was taped though so I doubt they will have as you said rallied against him because they will have had about 10/20 minutes to digest what has just happened with Punks promo and the next RAW episode has started and they wont have heard any of the stuff that we will have on the internet as nothing will have came out yet.

The majority of the crowd were silent I thought and there was a lot of added crowd noises. The crowd had sat through 2 episodes of RAW so I understand if they were bored plus they were being told it was July 4th a week before it actually was.

There was a lot of empty seats around the arena.

It was a decent Raw the triple threat was brilliant. I can see ADR defo winning the MitB now. And the crowd reactions has got to be the shitiest editing since McCools leaving stipulation speech.

they had reportedly been setting up Del Rio Vs Cena at Summerslam for a long time now, not sure who would be champ for it though, but could see that happening and Punk either being off TV or involved with a fued with vince for the rest of the summer.

WWE is saying del rio isnt in the MITB because hes number 1 contender for the winner of Punk Vs Cena

I thought he'd be back in it, due to Punk/Cena being back on.

Seriously though Ziggler should be in this match.

Also, how could I forget to mention the epic Zack Ryder-New Nexus staredown. The intensity in those 3 seconds was amazing.

I wonder who Ryder's tag team partner will be (providing he does go after the tag titles and doesn't take over from Punk as the leader lol). Curt Hawkins seems the most obvious option, providing he has a gimmick that fits with the Iced Z.

Hawkins can be changed though as he's hardly on TV, alternately what about the big guy in his videos??

well providing that the situation had been created a while ago they probably hoped Morrison would take part, however he is now out for a few more months.

I agree with Rocky. They seem to be making this whole thing about Cena, which is canny shite.

The Big O? I'd love to see a non-wrestling cameo from him but he's probably a turd in-ring.

Hawkins is Ryders tag partner, they've been a Team again on a few episodes of Superstars.

Cant see Big Show in it, probably more shite with Henry.
And Mason Ryan is injured.

Probably will be Ziggler as Kofi is already in it.

McIntyre is still coasting on his overrated performance at Elimination Chamber IMO. Admittedly, he hasn't had many other opportunities on RAW/SmackDown since then.

Oh sorry I didnt realise Kofi was in it. I thought they were setting up a Kofi/Zigger match for the US title.

Doesnt Zack Ryder tag with Primo as well?

Think he teamed with Primo a couple of times, but now he defends his Internet title against him at house shows.
