not to rub it in bosch. Doubt mine will survive much longer, still dont dare turn it off standby cos the switch once made an electic kinda spark noise, yeah fuck the environment.

thats the 3rd i've had the 1st warranty and the 2nd Sony replaced and now this ones broke and i always left mine on standby

Im going to phone Sony later and if they say £150 to fix it i'll say that this would be the 4th one ive had and whats to say that thats not going to get the YLOD as well.I'll say im always on it and have alot of games blah blah blah see if i can change there minds to help me rather than con me as theres a brand new slim ps3 in my game for £149.99. If i cant get it for free i'll say that im going to get an Elite then as i no they dont break and see if that changes there mind but otherwise i'll be with a PS3 for a month or 2 untill i can get that £150 Slim.

I've only ever heard of one of my mates PS3s dying, that was due to the fans being wank and so they were told in future that every now and then to hoover the back of their PlayStation to make sure the fans don't get clogged up. Don't know if it actually helped by their PlayStation hasn't broken since...

yh i was told to do that with mine from a mate but i doubt it will work now

anyone no if you can buy a external harddrive so i can plug my broken ps3s harddrive in and back my data up on then bang it on my new one when i get it ?

I've always hoovered it, commen sense fans suck in air to cool, if the vents suck in too much dust the effect will be impaired. No idea about hard drive, google time
