FIFA 11 Breaks Sales Records. Ultimate Team Will Now Be Free

FIFA 11 has had an outstanding first weekend on sale, shattering sales records, shifting 2.6 million copies across Europe and North America through October 2nd. That makes it the fastest selling sports game ever, up 29 percent over last year's FIFA, grossing $150 million already at retail.

October 1st and 2nd meanwhile, saw 11.3 million players connecting to play FIFA 11 online, which means that the plans to celebrate the massive success of the game is going to be music to a lot of fans' ears.

FIFA 11's Ultimate Team will be offered for free when it launches in November, giving players an entirely new game mode, which involves acquiring packs of card to assemble a dream team of players to take onto the pitch. Previously, Ultimate Team cost a few dollars, but now it won't cost you a thing.

which is why they are so happy. They have bashed in pes once and for all. With the 3 big american sports games and golf and fifa and presumably mma, EA are having a very good year

do they not also do NBA? The demo I got of that in 2009 was awesome and outselling it's rival. I hate bball normally but the games can be fun

i was including nfl, nba and nhl, cos i forgot baseball existed lol i dunno if baseball games sell, but i suppose they would. Never seen one in england though

I'm not loving it as much as I have with PES, but even though it's getting good reviews there's no way I'm getting it this year.

Yeah I'm not really thinking of getting it either, maybe next year. I did hear you could alter the game speed in PES from the pause menu which might help a bit, but it'll still probably be shit.

need to ask regular fifa players how do you loan players in manager mode ?

i've seen Gibbs has been put on the loan list & i want to loan him but i dunno how to just comes up to buy

Go to the sell players bit and set him for available for loan

no i wanna loan someone not loan anyone out

click on player and you should be able to move using arrow buttons to loan option instead of buy option.

this is going by previous fifa's i havent got the game

pretty sure it is, i looked at trying to loan Henri Lansbury and a couple of other youngsters who wern't on the loan list and couldn't do it

lol i found out how to loan them when you are searching for a player at the bottom it says status transfer you can change transfer to loan and all the loan players come up i have Wilshere on loan

and bellamy is quality

isn't that what i said you had to change status to loan

my point was the only guys you could loan are the ones on that list and you can't put an offer in the loan other players not on the list like you used to.

Yeh i loaned Wilshere in my first season, in my 3rd season now and have bought Wilshere 8.75m
