Fifa 11 Demo

Anyone played it yet? Thoughts?

I think it is similar to fifa 10 but has a lot of subtle differences. I've noticed that where in fifa 10 they'd wait for the ball to drop, whereas in 11 they take it out of the air. Be a goalkeeper seems piss easy though.

I'm downloading the demo now and it's taking ages even though I shouldn't be on here talking. I'm off to finish the download.

I downloaded it at 12 pm yesterday by making a usa account because they got it earlier lol. it's annoying how short the halves are though. i think you should unlock 6 minute halves by preordering it or something. the animations are much more varied and better imo and also the celebrations are good where you interact with team mates.

but thats the thing they give you that 3 mins then it makes you want to play it more so when it comes out bang your there buying it so you can play it longer

good goal keeper reactions for AI goalkeepers it seems. well improved, looks better.

fuck hard to score a penalty though, had a shootout and ai missed 4 i missed 3

you litterally have to guess where to aim and it shoots off to the side and without the marker you dont know when that is.

gameplay doesnt seem too good yet, but demo last yr was awful gameplay then the game was best yet

did you play Fifa WC sexton cos i think the penalty system is from that from what you just described

& it is hard to score with that cos you cant hold where you want to aim for to long or you'll miss and you have to stop it in the green bit of the bar

Anyway on the demo whats up with the pens? FFS so hard to score, how are you meant to take them?

im saying penalties are like Fifa WC from what sexton said so here it is


once you get the hang of it its easy i think they'll do one for Fifa 11
