Champions League Discussion Thread

Seeing as there is a prem and non prem discussion thread, I thought I'd make a champions league thread as it starts tonight.

Looking forward but also dreading the game tonight, if Rangers dont lose an early goal we have a chance but if we concede in the first 20 mins we could be on the end of a thrashing.

Fixtures for Opening Day:

Im thinking a pumping for Rangers, but hoping we turn the cunts over.

hope tottenham get thrashed tonight. cant stand them along with Liverpool, Middlesborough and Birmingham in England

I can understand Liverpool, but why Boro and Birmingham?

Boro because I support Newcastle. Boro also never fill their ground and pproably have the worst attendance in ratio to seats available in England, most overrated squad in the championship aswell.

Birmingham , one of my friends likes them so I support the others to annoy him( i.e Villa), they are probably the most boring team to watch in the EPL apart from Stoke.

also who are we picking to go all the way this year.

After being totally out played by everton Saturday I can see this going one of two ways. Either Rooney comes back in and has a blinder, or he comes back in and gets sent off.

Fair enough governor. Real Madrid will win the champions league this year. I think it will be a Madrid v Barcalona final.

The only back pocket Rooney ever goes in, is his own to pay for all the slags he goes through.

I see Man utd have made 10 changes in tonights game. Chris SMalling making his Champions League debut and Kusiack in goal. I can see Rangers Scoring in this one but I think United will win 3-2.

Valencia sent both of us a message tonight. I thought theyd struggle in Turkey but won comfortably. Even without Villa and Silva they will be a big threat going forward

Definitely. They still have a strong squad with some talented players. They won't be pushovers especially at the Mestalla.

We got slapped in the face again tonight by sheer arrogance, 10 fking changes is just blind arrogance and total disrespect, and towards the end I was kinda hoping we would lose, as it might wake SAF the fuck up.

I agree with you there, Buraspor will be tough away but we'll see how the group progresses. Hopefully we can something away to Valencia.

Rangers wont score 6 goals in the whole campaign let alone against one team, they'll fight for their lives but they wont be opening up to anyone!
