Goalkeeper Trouble

the one area we have to improve in for a better season. The rumors going aroundis that Wenger will pay £8m for Joe Hart & if that fails £8m for Robert Green. i would chose Hart young and very good goalkeeper will be very good in the future. Green he's a good goalkeeper but some of the goals he's let in this season have been blunders from him he seems to only perform on big game days which isnt very good if you are a top 4 club.

Some one at school today said Fraser Froster from newcastle but sometimes he can be a Spud sometimes. Also talk of Ben froster wanting to leave Man u because he wants first team.


* Almunia who isnt consistent enough to be a 1st team goalkeeper

* Fabianski enough said lol

* Mannone who i feel should be number 2 goalkeeper and very close to number

also a some sites are reporting Marouane Chamakh having already signed for us waiting till the end of the season to join.

Joe Hart for me is better than Robert Green already, I'd hang out to see the Buffon to Man City rumours though, if their is truth in that then Shay Given has to be the #1 choice, the best keeper in the Premiership for me

david james could lose it at any moment tbh, think he prefers less high pressure too which you will get from lesser clubs. given easy if city go big

I think Robert Green is overrated, I don't think he's any better than Ben Foster, in fact he's probably not as good. Would have Paul Robinson instead of him in World Cup squad. Given would be a great buy, definitely the best in the Premiership and I would go as far to say the third best in the world. City would be mad to spend £30m on Buffon, they need to spend big in the summer but definitely not in the goalkeeper position.

i would take hart for sure for 8m, but how much funds do you actually have, as i think you need a few more players aswell

at least 1 more cb (and send silvestre into retirement)
a combative player to challenge song for his place
and a target man that can lead the line better than bendtner (i think chamakh is the sort of player who would prefer playing off a striker)

Jaaskelinen at Bolton is a top, top keeper. Never seems to cock up, and considering the defence he plays behind, I rate him as definitely one of the top keepers in the Premiership.

Jaaskelinen, given, hart and Fredial are the realistic ones u cud sign imo. Hart would be the best one

Joe Hart would be a fantastic signing for Arsenal. At around £8,000,000 he is a bargain. Arsene should definitely try and sign him.

what i was thinking the other day was.

france and germany all have 3 keepers who are ALL better than our number 1 and 2 from the past 5 years

but joe hart is probably better than them all in his own right which imo is fucking

What a fucking idiot Wenger is! Like gaffer said, defiitely the best keeper in the premiership now that Van der Sar and Cech have gotten dodgy.

If there's no chance of signing Given, then Hart would definitely be an excellent choice, probably been the second best keeper in the premiership this season, and you know he's only going to get better. Still can't believe Birmingham didn't try and get him signed to a permanent deal in January.

I would say Reina could push Given for the title of best keeper. Reina has won the Golden Gloves for quite a few seasons.

I think Robert Green. I feel it's because he's sitting behind a very dodgy defence the past few years. Good shot stopper. However being very biased here you can have Andy Lonergon from us for between 6 & 7 million. Cracking shot stopper and is getting better with every game
