Major Travel Problems Puts Monday's RAW in Jeopardy

Due to the volcano erupting overseas this week, the WWE crews have experienced some major travel problems as they have been wrapping up the European tour. Monday night's RAW is in jeopardy of happening as planned. WWE has informed the arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey that RAW is still planned to take place as scheduled. The SmackDown crew was able to get flights out of Spain and will be in the United States in time for RAW. It's possible the SmackDown crew will have to be in the building for RAW on Monday night. The RAW crew is still in the UK and if they can't make it back to the US in time for RAW on Monday night, it's possible that they will film interviews with certain stars and air them on TV while the SmackDown crew wrestles on TV. There is a flight ban in the UK that has been extended until 7pm local time on Sunday, making it even harder for the RAW crew to get back in time for the show on Monday night.

couldn't they just film it over here again
could sell tickets online then email them over get crew out selling on the streets could sell abit but not alot cos very short notice

they are still in belfast at the minute and i havent a clue when the airport opens again,they could always take a boat over to england and do raw there and have a pay at the door one.

well its all been delayed till 7 tomorrow & rumours that there'll be no flights till the weekend if that so have SD on monday & tape Raw over here & air it friday

I was thinking that. Some people are saying that the delays could carry on for another week or more. That's probably a worst case scenario but if it carried on till, say, Saturday morning it could cause some problems. I guess about half of the PPV would be ok (the Smackdown matches) but what about the others? Perhaps the NXT guys would get some PPV time?

I reckon they would just hold two shows at the same time if it came to that. The SmackDown guys would be performing in America and that would be shown on a big screen wherever the RAW guys are and vice versa.

And if it did come to that, Jack Swagger vs Orton wouldn't be able to go ahead, would it? I'm not sure if Swagger is with the RAW or SmackDown crew on this tour.

i actually want it to be bant till the weekend just to see what the WWE can come up with in such sort notice.

to be honest if they cant fly out there by Wednesday i would just have them take a boat home to the US take them 12 hours then they will have no problem for the PPV

never been on a plane so not a clue

i googled it and its 7 hours lol

just put sky news on and says closed till 1pm tomorrow although they fount no damage to the plane from test run

Depends where your going in the States, think its only around 5 hours to NYC
