Ratings Thread! TNA iMPACT! vs Monday Night RAW

Oh and the network Smackdown and NXT are both on are far weaker networks than Spike.

You know there is an interesting little fact that people have overlooked with these ratings. For the past few weeks Impact has started with higher ratings than it finished with, that's a huge problem if you ask me.

Also, the Knockouts have been in the highest rated quarter hour in both weeks

Last night's edition of TNA iMPACT! scored a 0.86 (.9) cable rating, slightly up from last week's 0.84 rating. The show did 1.2 million viewers, an improvement over last week's 1.1 million viewers. The rating is up 2% from the previous week. The demos were all up as well: -- M18-49 did a 0.86, up +18% -- M18-34 did a 0.86, up +37% -- P18-49 did a 0.53, up +15%.

so yeah it beat raw in the uk anyway. thats something

It means absolutely nothing in the UK to be honest with you, RAW is on a subscription channel and iMPACT! is basically FREE with the basic SKY package and it should be noted that SKY and the WWE add together the weekly ratings from when RAW airs at 2am Tuesday Morning and 9pm on Thursday Nights as its polled that the people who watch the live show are more often than not not the same people who watch the Thursday Night show

I reckon TNA's popularity will be much closer to WWE's in the UK, than it is in the US. You do have to pay a larger fee to watch WWE, so the ratings are probably about as reliable as the ones in the US. I originally got Sky Sports because I had seen TNA on Bravo and wanted to start watching WWF (I thought) again. So people will pay if they want to watch the channel. I no longer watch WWE but Sky Sports costs about £15 a month, I think, so I've kept it (also for football). So it's not a hell of a lot of money when you think about it, not even £4 a week.

The WWE didn't gain an audiance, they did on last wee but last night was just a 0.1 over their average rating for the year and like Bazz said, the last time they got a 3.7 TNA got 0.9 and its also 150% lower than the rating on January 4th that convinced them to go to Mondays in the first place

iMPACT! will always drop ratings the week the taped show airs

I'm happy to hear that Vince is currently winning this little Monday feud. He's done too much for Wrestling to be beaten down to the ground by a Territory-based promotion named TNA.

Early numbers in from Nielsen Media from last night's WWE RAW and TNA iMPACT show that RAW scored a 3.2 cable rating while TNA iMPACT scored an 0.9 cable rating.

Going an hour early seems to have helped TNA.

Just looked at what it was up against, they had no chance of hitting a decent figure last night, they where up against American Football and Dancing with the stars which did 40m viewers between them

The knockouts are the only thing drawing in TNA so that just goes to show the 'average fan' who watches them are all about

I really don't get it, everything they did was a clusterfuck and dumb as fuck, the promo was awful, the match was booked in a shocking manner( everyone for themselves tag team match, where 2 of the people who won keys, did so during the adverts), and the the main event, which I have no words for.

how the fuck are people guessing when segments start if they have turned over. Another past of the saving bull i dont get have americans got a slag-o-meter that alerts them when its bimbo oclock? Still think a hell of alot more people watch tna, will they address the problem that ppl in uk will watch online not on bravo though dont see why then dont air on mon and tues in eng.

To be honest the segment breakdown is something I have never understood, its probably something like how many people tune out during the segment, and how many people tune back in and stay tuned in.
