but is it safe to assume edge and jericho will be the final 2 in the match, one will win obviously then one will move on to money in the bank?

It's more likely that Edge will return by eliminating Jericho from the match despite him not being in the rumble. I don't think Jericho vs Edge is scheduled to be for the title.

The promo on Monday's Raw makes me firmly believe it will be HBK and Triple H as the last 2 in the rumble.

I've been stating that for about 2 months! HBK to hit sweet chin music on HHH and set up him v Taker.

just thought a massive face turn for edge would be the classic battle to the end clean lasting for the entire rumble then getting screwed, oh well if jericho isnt involved lol

it seems everyones just been waiting for him to join tna since his rumble appearance last year

he said in an interview he will never wrestle the schedule he use to in the wwe.so unless they give him a hbk deal then its unlikely we will see him back the e again

I have been doing A LOT of pondering about what could happen at the Rumble, and I came up with an interesting scenario. I feel that Edge will return as a surprise entrant in the Rumble match. I feel he should have a strong outing in the match since it is his return. At some point in the match, either he hits a spear or Triple H hits a Pedigree on Jericho and he falls out of the ring but is not eliminated. He stays outside for a long while though. Meanwhile, inside, it comes down to HBK vs. HHH. They have a decent battle before HBK eliminates HHH. We think HBK has won, but Y2J comes out of nowhere and dumps HBK, making Y2J the winner.

Depending on the card placement, HBK could then run-in and cost Taker the world title, seeming setting up HBK/Taker and Y2J/Mysterio at 'Mania. On SmackDown!, Taker would come out and still refuse to face HBK at 'Mania. Then, fast forward to February and the EC PPV.

We could see an Elimination Chamber match for the World Title with Rey as champ headfing in. Other participants could be Batista, Edge, CM Punk, John Morrison, and one other top-teir SmackDown! star. At some point, Rey pins Punk. Punk goes to leave, but comes back in with a chair and nails everyone left, including Rey before leaving. This causes Rey to get eliminated and lose the title. From there, Edge wins the gold.

Edge could go on to face Taker for the gold on SmackDown!, which Edge wins after HBK screws Taker again. Taker then agrees to face HBK at 'Mania for some retribution. and now three rumored 'Mania matches are set, HBK/Taker, Punk/Mysterio, and Edge/Jericho for the WHC. What do you guys think of this scenario?

I agree with everything Wilk2007 but i think Edge will be a late entry. Edge coming back from injury i don't think he will be in the match too long, maybe 26 upwards entry, just incase his injury re-occurs.
